People’s Millions Scottish line up revealed
The 24 shortlisted groups set to battle for the public vote and £50,000 of Lottery cash in this year’s The People’s Millions TV competition have been revealed.
The People’s Millions 2013 is an on air TV contest which will be shown on STV West, STV East, STV North and ITV Border evening regional news programmes during the week of 25 November. It will give six selected community groups in each of the four regions the opportunity to win over the public on why they deserve a life changing Lottery award.
Each night two groups will make their bid for viewers’ support to take home up to £50,000, with the public voting by phone to decide who wins the prize.
There are 12, £50,000 awards up for grabs in Scotland – as well as a bonus award for the runner up with the most phone votes across the week in each region.
This is the eighth year that the Big Lottery Fund and ITV have given the public the chance to choose where the Lottery good cause cash goes in their region.
