The National Lottery Awards are back!

Entry for the National Lottery Awards 2014 is now open.

The Awards are an annual search to find the UK’s favourite Lottery funded projects. Lottery players raise £33 million every week for projects across the UK and the Awards are a great way to highlight the difference the funding has made.300x250

Now in their eleventh year, the Awards recognise the incredible difference that Lottery funded projects have made to people, places and communities all across the UK and the some 420,000 grants that have been made since 1994.

Awards are given across seven categories reflecting the different types of projects that benefit from National Lottery funding.  These are Art, Education, Environment, Health, Heritage, Sport and Charity/Voluntary.

To help kick off this year’s search, Big Lottery Fund project, “My Sister’s Place, explain here what winning last year meant to them.

The closing date for entries is 11.59pm on Wednesday March 12th 2014. Finalists will be in with the chance to appear on National Television and win £2000!!
