The Scottish Government have made an announcement about the future of the Third Sector Early Intervention Fund (TSEIF).

The full text of the announcement can be found here.Funders Forum cropped

The Scottish Government recognises the importance of the contribution the third sector makes to supporting families and communities and is committed to supporting this. They have listened to concerns from the sector around the need for early certainty on funding levels for 2015-16, which is why the current announcement has been made.

Continuation of both the Third Sector Early Intervention Fund and Strategic Funding Partnerships for a further year will give the Scottish Government time to take on board the outcome of the Education Scotland review of the SFP model and the first year report on the TSEIF as they develop robust proposals for 2016-17 onwards.

We’ve been advised that information on the detailed arrangements of how the continuation of the fund will operate will be available in due course.
