BIG Lottery Fund Scotland on prevention and early intervention

July 8, 2014

BIG_E_PINK_SCREENThe Big Lottery Fund is having a dialogue about its future funding strategy in Scotland and across the UK.

The dialogue includes discussion of prevention and early intervention and our Scotland office recently commissioned research to identify how much of our current funding takes a preventative approach.  We also wanted to fund out where the impact from this funding is greatest.

This research will be one of many resources that we will use as we develop our funding portfolio in Scotland next year and we’d be interested in any comments you may have about it.

You can access this article, which includes a link to the report,  in full, here  http://yourvoiceourvision.org.uk/if-prevention-is-better-than-cure-what-does-this-mean-for-funders/
