After a successful first round of funding – and almost £10M of grants made – the next round of Big Lottery Fund Scotland’s Support and Connect fund closes to applications on 6th September 2013. The second round of the funding programme will have over £5M to distribute to projects that will improve local support for people in Scotland experiencing hardship and material need.
We want to fund projects that will:
- Provide welfare advice
- Provide financial skills training and services
- Take action to address food poverty
- Provide clothing and household goods
- Take action to address fuel poverty.
If you are thinking of applying to Support and Connect, you can get an idea of what we are looking for by reading some new example projects we have published on our website, based on projects funded through the first round.
We will also be running a webinar for potential applicants, on Friday August 23, 2013. This session will include a short presentation on how to apply, and what we are looking to fund, followed by a chance for you to ask any burning questions.
- Click here to sign up to the Support and Connect webinar on Friday 23 August from 1pm to 2pm
